Freestyle Snowboard Stance

I am looking at getting some freestyle twin tip skis and don't know what size to get?

I am 17 years old and, have never skid on snow before, however I am an avid water skier. I weigh 145 lbs and am 6'2. And I also wear a size 12 shoe. Which would be the size of ski that you would recommend and which brand would you recommend buying. I was also wondering if you thought if it was okay to purchase these from eBay?

Thanks a lot, I value your opinion,

Jason

If you're a beginner, than the height of your skis should be around your nose area. They're generally easier to control and are more comfortable for first-time skiers.

However, I wouldn't recommend buying on eBay. I know lots of people do it, but there are problems with it. Most stores come with a 30 day ride guarantee. If your skis don't work out for you, you can always go back and return them. With eBay, that would be impossible.

In addition, if you go into a store, they can help you with all your personal preferences. You can get the perfect skis for you, and that's what matters. Skis are an expensive investment, and I wouldn't want to waste that money.
