Finding a good home for your old TV may be the start of a whole new, green day! Now that your big screen TV is up and ready for Super Bowl Sunday (don’t forget the snacks and drinks!) …. Have you thought about what to do with your old set? Several websites could be the answer. Consumer Electronics has a web site
My Green Electronics which lists information on recycling old TVs. Another site is Throw Place a great place to find a home for used items or search for ones for yourself (everything is free) If you would like to help keep CT going green on a local level there is several places one of which is freecycle new haven — http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freecyclenewhaven/ or just visit your local Goodwill store or call Habitat for Humanity… and give your old set a good home! The more we show our families and friends ways to keep CT green and leave less of a footprint on the planet the better off we and future generations will be. Do you know of a company or place that promotes “green ideas” especially if it’s located in Connecticut. Let us know and we will pass it on…
Namaste!
